Earl Edgar Park, Design Build

The Earl Edgar Recreational Area Renovations in the Town of Buckeye is a retrofit of an existing, 20-acre park.  This project included the creation of a new maintenance facility with storage yard, shop area and office space.  Also included was the renovation of several sports fields including two softball fields and a batting cage.  Stabilized DG pathways surround the park while new concrete walkways bring you through the heart of the fields to the new boundless certified playground with an architectural shade canopy.  The park includes Musco sports lighting for the soccer field and site lighting in the parking lots for night use.  Potable water consumption was reduced by the construction of 3,400 LF of 12” waterline to re-feed the irrigation system from a nearby water treatment facility using reclaimed water.  Valley Rain also coordinated the modifications required at the Water Treatment Plant.

Valley Rain teamed with EPG, Inc. for the design process which included Master Plan revisions, schematic design, design development and final construction documents.
