Automated Grade Control
3D GPS Automated Grade Control: Valley Rain uses Trimble GCS900 for automated grade control in the field and self performs all data preparation. This enables our team to review the project in detailed 3D prior to working in the field giving us the ability to troubleshoot any grade issue in the office before sending the job to the field. Grade modifications and measurements can be done in real time with wireless connectivity to our office.
Once the data preparation is complete, our designs are transferred to mobile controller units on the ground and in the machine, placing the entire digital design in the hands of each operator. The equipment controls are capable of automatic guidance based on GPS and site controller locations to carve graded sites that fully meet the design intent.
Valley Rain also utilizes automatic laser blade controls for sports fields and other grades where the tolerances demand laser accuracy.
